Praise the Lord for a very special Mother's Day.<br /><br />Prayers continue for your family.<br /><br />Joy/Chandler, OKAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843526988083008045.post-43981274305834893832011-05-11T20:34:12.951-07:002011-05-11T20:34:12.951-07:00This time, I offer no Nana Jana poems for you; Sco...This time, I offer no Nana Jana poems for you; Scott spoke of such beautiful things, and I could never top those heartfelt words from my "little boy" to his wife, Emma's Mommy.<br /><br />Instead, I just want to say that it has been almost a year since you received the diagnosis of Emma's HLHS, only halfway through your pregnancy.<br /><br />In the year since that diagnosis (and in the seven months since Emma's delivery), we have all had our eyes opened to the realities of HLHS by following Emma's journey, and by praying for hope for Emma's heart - asking at first for her little half-heart to be mended, and asking now for a new heart to be found.<br /><br />God's grace and tender mercies have accompanied us all through a roller coaster ride of turns, twists, quick drops, and hopeful climbs. In the process, HE has taught us to love one another more, to realize the blessings of each day, and to have deeper compassion for others who suffer.<br /><br />In ways we never could have dreamed a year ago, Emma has been a blessing to all of us - to family members and Prayer Warriors, too. Her brave journey has touched the lives of tens of thousands. My, what a gift she has been, and is! <br /><br />GOD be praised for the wonders HE has already worked in Emma's life.
