Emma was extubated at 8:45 this morning! Emma is still extubated and is doing well! She needs to learn to cough up the stuff in her airway and lungs but other than that so far so good!!! I have got to hold her the majority of the day!!! :)
Getting Extubated!
Picked up my baby BY MYSELF for the first time EVER!
My eyes filled with tears when you said you got to pick her up by yourself. What seems like something so simple is breathtaking in this situation. I'm so happy for you all!
Wonderful, wonderful news! I am rejoicing with you! Praying for a heart for Emma. Thank you for your precious testimony of trust in the Lord. He IS so very good.
So very happy for you!! My daughter was born a week before yours and I have been following Emma's progress since day one. You are daily in my prayers! Thank you for being such an encouraging family. You are bringing glory to GOD.
So many crises, so many hurrieds texts and phone calls, so many days facing the unknown, so much restraint from holding her and loving on her at first, so many silent and secret tears, so many specialists and nurses and caregivers ...
...and yet so many answered prayers, so much support from people around the world, so many people holding the three of you in their hearts and lifting your names to God, so much kindness and help from strangers, so much good care from the medical community ... and SO MUCH LOVE!
We'll "Praise God from Whom all blessings flow" as we continue to offer so many prayers of hope for the future, and prayers of thanks for the successes thus far along Emma's journey!
AMAZING! I am so proud of her. You have to be the happiest mom in the world today. You all still remain in my thoughts and prayers.
