Emma Janae Stewart, born at 8:44 a.m., 6 lbs. 1.5 oz., 18 inches long. Beautiful as ever!
Sarah is doing good and Emma is at Childrens in the cath lab. with Scott. They have run some tests on her heart and at first were thinking that everything looked good, but now they believe that it is best to go ahead and do the first surgery. They are going to do a balloon stint in the smaller hole to help with the blood flow. This surgery will take 1-2 hours. Scott is with Emma and Sarah should be entering recovery soon.

ReplyDeleteI understand everything you are and will be going thru. My son Ben didn't get to come home from the hospital until he was 6 months old. then only stayed home for 6 days before we went back to the hospi5l for many months again. I hope that your family will always be there for you so that you do not have to embark on this journey alone. The nurses are amazing and know what to do. Trust them and God and your lil angel will be tougher than ever. You are in my prayers!
