Well last night went well. She was very stable through the night which is awesome! Today she has had a pretty big day. She has had two of her chest tubes taken out and has had one set of pacing wires removed! She is doing very well! Right now, as I look over at her as I type this, she is resting very very well! We are truly blessed with such a strong and beautiful little girl!
Some specific things to pray for:
1) Pray for her lungs, especially the right lung, that it will open back up and that both of her lungs will function well!
2) Pray for her heart, that it continues to function great!
3) Pray for the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, etc, that are taking care of Emma.
4) Pray for Sarah and I, that we remain well and illness free!
God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good!

THE KISS!!! Absolutely beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteSomeday, Scott, you'll look at a photo of YOUR baby kissing HER baby and know exactly how I feel right now. Until then, I'll just say that you have made your Momma extremely proud and happy by being such an awesome Daddy to such a precious, beautiful little girl!

Emma is such a strong little girl, truly amazing. Praise God for all He has done. We will be praying for her lung to open back up and that she will be able to get off the vent. It is so exciting that she has so many tubes and wires what a huge step! Keep staying strong and know that so many prayers are being sent up.

I will pray for Miss Emma. I hope she recovers quck and become healthy for the 2 strong parents.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures, especially the one with Scott kissing Emma. It doesn't take long for little girls to wrap daddies around their finger! My prayers are with you all daily. Emma, stay strong! Scott, you are doing an amazing job! Sarah, you are a wonderful mommy but you must take care of yourself so that you can take care of Emma. Get as much rest as you can, and feel better soon. It's amazing what a little sleep can do for you. ((((HUGS))))
